🎋【A Refreshing Summer Night by Train | Eizan Railway Green Maple Illumination & Tanabata Train 2026】
🌿 Ride the seasonal Eizan Railway through the magical Green Maple Tunnel
✨ One of Kyoto’s most beloved summer events
✨Stretching approximately 250 meters, the famous Green Maple Tunnel is surrounded by vibrant fresh maple leaves from early summer through midsummer
✨During the illumination period, the train temporarily switches off its interior lights as it enters the tunnel and slows down, allowing passengers to fully appreciate the breathtaking scenery outside the windows
✨The peaceful atmosphere offers a completely different side of Kyoto after dark
🎋 Special Tanabata Decorations
✨ The special 800 Series Tanabata Train is decorated with colorful wish strips (tanzaku), while LOVE Tanzaku are available free of charge at Demachiyanagi Station, allowing visitors to write their own wishes and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere
